Rubber Souls, poem (222/365)

She has rubber souls
So nothing sticks
Not to her
Splashing puddles
Her souls are spotless
She could walk
To hell and still
Have no scuff marks
Says the shoe salesman
Pretty poetic
But I’m pretty
Jesus wore Birkenstocks
She’s got rubber souls
But her soul is not
Which was all that mattered
