Empty Accolades, poem(290/365)

I won’t nor I can’t
Take away any accolades
But that smirk
On your face
As you implied
Of my own demise
Well that I can take
As I plan and plot
And I take all these
Emotions of pain
And write something
That with or without
Validation seems to
Float to the top
Not stifled by negativity
So I will take
Your empty smirk
For it’s the fuel
Thanks you
For those accolades
You can’t nor
You won’t be able
To ignore
