The Lie, poem (266/365)

Sometimes you runaway
And I don’t know
If I should chase you
You insist on being alone
But gravitate to people
Who embrace you
You laugh so loud
In hopes of portraying happy
But your eyes betray you
So when you say
You’re fine
I’m not really believing you
