Magician’s regrets, poem (262/365)

It breaks my heart
That I’ll got is
Few tricks and some cards
I wish magic
Really was in my palms
And when I clicked my fingers
You’d be happily trailing along
I wish stuffed in this top hat
Was a lotto ticket
That could solve all of your problems
But I’m not that great a magician
And nothing happens
when I say abracadabra
I know magic is out there
I just don’t know how to grab it
The only piece I can give
Is my smile
And if you smile
I’ll think it’s magic
Levitating me
