Do I believe
Been a while
Since I heard
Your voice
On the phone line
Anxious and worried
And angry
And scared
You went away
Well I stayed
So I guess we
Are both to blame
You didn’t push me aside
It’s just been awhile
Since I heard your voice
On the phone line
Do I believe you
I do and I do
And I keep
Writing and calling
Till doubt leaves
But I’m sorry
I didn’t call sooner
